HMS Chassis

All Hammond Motorsports chassis are built to be I.M.C.A. legal. Each chassis is fitted with a door plate, spring buckets (adding strength to the stock frame) and 9" shocks on the front (providing stability to the chassis). As a bonus, all of our chassis come with CUSTOM seat, steering, and pedal mounting positions.

Stampings

HMS has frame stampings (including 68-72 Chevelle) available OR can provide welded up stubs. All HMS chassis use NEW stampings. Pictured is a new 68-72 Chevelle frame stamping.

Rear End Housings

HMS Housings are furnished with Fill, Vent and Drain Plugs. All axle tubes are centerless ground to 3.000 for a perfect fit for the use of bearing bird cages. HMS straightens every housing to .010 run out or less. Housing centers are refurbished Ford's or HMS can build with NEW fabricated centers.

Bar Mounts

Pictured are: 4" Bar Mounts, 9" Ford Pull Bar Mounts and the Quick Change Pull Bar Mounts.

The Ultimate Sport Mod Trailing Arm Mount

This mount has 3 trailing arm holes letting you run 4 1/4", 5 1/4", 6 1/4" of trailing arm drop. The shock plate has mounting holes in the front and back side giving you 6 different locations to place the shock . The spring cup is adjustable side to side. Just tack weld in place.

Shock Mount

The HMS adjustable shock mount can have up to 4.5" of adjustment. The shock mount on the jack bolt swivels 360 degrees so the shock will not bind up as you do your adjustment. This also works well for the right rear tie down chain.

Body Hem Tool

This tool will let you hem any part that you need hemmed on or off the car. It can hem any curves or turns you may run into. Works good for wheel wells, sail panels, fan shroud and hood openings.

Trailing Arms / Tubes

HMS bent lower 4 bar trailing arm tubes. This tube will not bind up under chassis hike to the bird cage! Custom made 5/8" trailing arms. Made from 4130 Chrome Moly. Tigged welded, can build any length. MADE IN THE USA. There are wrench flats milled every 90 degrees so you can hold the tube with a 1'' wrench and tighten up the jam nut.

Right Tire Rod

Pictured, a tie Rod for a 68-72 Chevelle .5/8 LH thread. Utilizing this tie rod lets you use a standard tie rod tube that makes adjusting the toe easier and gives you the needed clearance of the frame rail.

Scale Pads

The best way to scale your car! These scale pads get the car up 8'' off of the ground and has built in safeties so the car will not roll off. You can do all your chassis adjustments with these scale stands! Made for 15x15 scale pads.
